THE NEW ROCHELLE ART ASSOCIATION has a long tradition of promoting and supporting artists and the visual arts. Since its informal inception in 1912, the association has included among its membership many talented and internationally known painters, illustrators, and sculptors.
The NRAA sponsored its first annual juried show to celebrate the opening of the new city library. Some of the noted participants in that show of 140 entries included: sculptor Robert Aitken, painters G. Glenn Newell, Remington Schuyler, A.G. Heaton and illustrators Norman Rockwell, Joseph C. Leyendecker and Victor Forsythe.
Reception: Sunday, October 18, 2:00 PM–3:30 PM
Receiving: Sunday, September 21, 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Take Down: Sunday, November 1, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

This is for entry into the Open Juried Show. You may submit up to 2 pieces for the show. All entries will be reviewed by a jury. All accepted entries will be notified via email. Payment does not guarantee entry into the show. This exhibit is open to non-members as well as members. Acceptance into this show will automatically allow you to become a member of NRAA. All current members must renew their membership to the NRAA for the following year as well as pay for the show entry.
